The 12th photo contest “Animals on stage” launched
Fondation Grand Paradis has launched the new photo contest with big news: this edition joins together cinema and photography to spread the values of protecting Nature and biodiversity.
The 12th contest will be realised in the framework of the 20th Gran Paradiso Film Festival, the international festival dedicated to nature films in the Gran Paradiso.
The chosen pictures will be part of the promotional material of the Festival, which will take place in July 2017. The winning photograph will be the cover of the Festival catalogue, distributed in 8.000 copies, where biographies and contact details of the authors will be shown. The first three will also receive prizes.
The selection is open to all images portraying wildlife, particularly animals in their natural habitat, giving great value to photographs where animals are the protagonists of the scene. Photographs with animals in captivity or with the presence of man will not be taken into account.
Participants must fill in the entry form and send it before 13th March 2017, together with maximum 3 high resolution digital .jpg photos (300 dpi minimum) to the e-mail address concorso@grand-paradis.it or on CD/DVD to: Fondation Grand Paradis, Villaggio Cogne, 81 - 11012 Cogne (AO).
