Gran Paradiso Film Festival

From July 23 to 28, 2018 in Cogne and August in the Grand-Paradis valleys

The Festival envisages the presence of different juries who will assign the awards for the official competitions.

International Competition - Senior: present at each screening venue, the jury is composed by members of the public. It assigns the main award, the ‘Stambecco d’Oro Trophy’ (worth 5.000 €).

International Competition - Junior: present at each screening venue, the jury is composed by children between the age of 8 and 13.  It assigns the 'Stambecco d’Oro Junior Trophy'.

  • CortoNatura: present at each screening venue, the jury is composed by members of the audience of all ages. It assigns the award for best short film.

Applications to become a member of the jury for any of the screening venues are spontaneous, the only obligation being that prospective members must commit to view the entire official selection.

Prospective members can apply to both juries for the International Competition and CortoNatura

Technical Jury composesd by:

Danilo Mainardi, ethologist and Honorary President of LIPU; President of the Technical Jury of the Festival's seventeenth edition;

Ezio Torta, author and TV director;

Paolo Lazzarin, Vice President of Ente Progetto Natura;

Joseph Péaquin, director;

Marco Albino Ferrari, writer and journalist, founder and Director of 'Meridiani Montagne'.

The awards assigned are:

    • Stambecco d'Oro Trophy (worth 5.000 €)

    • CortoNatura award (worth 1.000 €)
  • Technical Jury:
    •  Gran Paradiso National Park award (worth 1.500 €)
    •  Ente Progetto Natura award (worth 1.500 €)
    •  WWF Italia award
    • Lipu-Mario Pastore award
