The press conference for the presentation of the XVII edition of the Gran Paradiso Film Festival – Trofeo Stambecco d’Oro will be held on Thursday 8 August 2013 at 12 a.m. in the 'Sala Commissioni' on the first floor of the Regional Palace in Aosta. It will feature the President of the Regional Council, Emily Rini, The Regional Ministry of Tourism, sport, commerce and transport, Aurelio Marguerettaz, the Regional Ministry of Agriculture and natural resources, Renzo Testolin, and the Director of Fondation Grand Paradis as well as Artistic director of the Festival, Luisa Vuillermoz.
The Festival, dedicated to nature and the environment, will take place from 26 to 31 August 2013 in Cogne, Rhêmes-Saint-Georges, Valsavarenche, Villeneuve and Ceresole Reale. In addition to the official selection of the International Competition and CortoNatura section, it proposes De Rerum Natura, a cycle of events dedicated to nature-related themes, science and the environment, featuring daily conferences, encounters with the directors, artistic performances and activities to discover the protected area.
The Gran Paradiso Film Festival is organised by Fondation Grand Paradis in collaboration with the Regional Council of Aosta Valley, the Regional Ministry of Tourism, sport, commerce and transport, the Councils of Cogne, the Gran Paradiso National Park, Federparchi, the Councils of Rhêmes-Saint-Georges, Villeneuve, Valsavarenche and Ceresole Reale.
