This year, the De Rerum Natura <\/span><span lang=\"IT\">conference series<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> will be hosting high-profile <\/span><span lang=\"IT\">guests<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> to respond to <\/span><span lang=\"IT\">people\u2019s need <\/span>for <span lang=\"IT\">reflecting on the future\u201d<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"TableStyle2\"><span lang=\"IT\">On 1 August, Maria Chiara Carrozza will take the stage in Cogne for the first time. Recently appointed President of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (National Research Council), she is<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> the first woman to hold this position<\/span><span lang=\"IT\">, <\/span>a<span lang=\"IT\">s well as the<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> former Minister for Education, Universities and Research<\/span><span lang=\"IT\">. She <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">will <\/span><span lang=\"IT\">be <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">speaking on the &#8220;Geopolitics of recovery and resilience <\/span><span lang=\"IT\">in the era of <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">sustainable technological development&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"TableStyle2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Carlo Cottarelli, the Director of the Observatory on the Italian Public Accounts and already a guest at the 22nd <\/span><span lang=\"IT\">Festival <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">edition, will be back <\/span><span lang=\"IT\">in Cogne to present his latest book &#8220;All&#8217;inferno e ritorno&#8221; (To Hell and Back), the<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> most political of his <\/span><span lang=\"IT\">works<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">, in which he reflects on the opportunities arising from the crisis and <\/span><span lang=\"IT\">on <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Italy&#8217;s economic future<\/span><span lang=\"IT\">.
