The 23rd<\/sup> edition of the Gran Paradiso Film Festival – an international festival dedicated to nature cinema that takes place against the gorgeous backdrop of the Gran Paradiso National Park \u2013 is about to start in a renewed format which recovers time and space and adopts for the first time a hybrid modality, online and in presence.<\/p>\n

In response to the ongoing sanitary emergency, the Festival – scheduled from July 28 to August 22 – will foresee outdoor events in the territory and a web Festival on a special online platform that will allow the audience to access most of the Festival contents. This new format will be an opportunity to share with a wider audience the main cultural event of the Gran Paradiso area and of the whole territory.<\/p>\n

Common thread of the first appointments will be “The trilogy of the castles”.\u00a0 Those events will be held in peculiar sites of historical and artistic interest: the Municipalities of: Introd (July 28), Villeneuve (July 30) and Aymavilles (August 2).\u00a0 The Gran Paradiso Film Festival will continue in Rh\u00eames-Saint-Georges (August 18) and Cogne (August 21) and will end with a wide-ranging event at the Mine Village of Cogne on Saturday, August 22.<\/p>\n

Further news and updates on the festival program will be announced during the press conference of July 24.<\/p>\n

The Gran Paradiso Film Festival is a project of Fondation Grand Paradis, carried out in the framework of the projects: PACTA – Promouvoir l’Action Culturelle en Territoire Alpin (Interreg VA Italy-France ALCOTRA 2014-2020) and SONO \u2013 Revealing possibilities and fostering opportunities (Interreg VA Italy-Switzerland 2014-2020), in collaboration with the Department of the Environment, Natural Resources and Forestry Corps of the Valle d’Aosta Autonomous Region, with the contribution of the Tourism, Sport, Trade, Agriculture and Cultural Heritage, Valle d’Aosta Autonomous Region, CRT Foundation, Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism (MIBACT) and the Gran Paradiso National Park; with the support of the Municipality of Cogne, Fondazione Comunitaria della Valle d\u2019Aosta, theItalian Alpine Club (CAI), the Alpine Convention and Federparchi; under the patronage of the Municipalities of: Aymavilles, Introd, Rh\u00eames-Notre-Dame, Rh\u00eames-Saint-Georges, Villeneuve and Ente Progetto Natura and the technical sponsorship of Montura.<\/em><\/p>\n
